AES bio‑soluble fiber blanket is the most widely used form among soluble fiber products. It features flexible texture, uniform density and stable high‑temperature performance, frequently used for furnace back‑up insulation layer, pipeline wrapping and kiln inner lining. Correct installation operations directly determine actual service life and heat‑insulating effect.

Before construction, check blanket surface for damage, delamination and contamination. Avoid using damp or damp‑damaged blankets. When cutting AES fiber blanket, use sharp cutter, do not tear fiber manually, to reduce generation of fine floating dust. Wear protective mask, gloves and goggles during all cutting work.

For furnace wall laying, stagger joints between adjacent blanket layers, do not align seams of inner and outer layers, to prevent heat short‑circuit through gaps. Fix blankets with matched anchor bolts and metal anchors. Control compression ratio properly, excessive compression will damage fiber elastic structure and degrade thermal insulation performance.

After finishing laying, avoid striking and scraping blanket surface violently. For furnace first‑time heating‑up, implement graded temperature rising procedure. Do not heat to target working temperature rapidly. Slow heating helps discharge residual moisture inside fiber blanket and prevent lining bulging or peeling. Proper storage is also important: store AES blanket roll in dry warehouse, keep away from rain and moisture before site delivery.
